  • Staff members will see all Projects to which they are assigned, while Clients will only see the Projects assigned specifically to them.   • SuiteDash introduces a thoughtful solution to a long-standing request: handling credit card processing fees without legally questionable surcharges. Rather than adding a fee for card payments, you can now offer a discount when your Clients choose manual payment methods such as cash, check, or other custom-configured methods.
  • This new feature allows you to define which Payment Methods are eligible for the discount directly in your settings. When applied, the full Invoice amount is shown as usual at the top of the Invoice, but an alternative Discounted Amount will appear below, visible only if the Client selects a qualifying payment method.
  • For example, if the Client chooses to pay by credit card, they’ll pay the full amount. But if they opt for a check or other approved manual method, they can pay the discounted amount—and the Invoice will be fully satisfied upon recording that payment.
  • When you record the payment manually and select an eligible payment method (like check), the discount is automatically applied. Once saved, the Invoice is marked as fully paid using the discounted total.

  • SuiteDash’s Installment Payments feature makes it easy to break down large totals into manageable parts, giving you full control to define installment structures based on either fixed amounts or percentage splits. On the Client side, these installments can be paid one at a time directly from the Portal, with each successful payment automatically updating the Invoice to reflect the new balance.
  • Now, this flexibility has been extended to include Manual Payments—such as payments made via cash, check, or even through offline gateways. Admins can now record each individual installment manually, marking them as paid within the system. This ensures the Installment Plan stays accurate and up-to-date, even when payments are collected outside the online Portal.
  • Once the payment is recorded, the system updates the Invoice balance accordingly, so when the Client views their Invoice, they’ll see the correct remaining balance with previous installments properly accounted for.

Billing / Dynamic Estimates

  • SuiteDash has enhanced its Estimate functionality with the introduction of Dynamic Estimates. Previously, you could create detailed Estimates with individual line Items, prices, and quantities, allowing Prospects or Clients to approve the Estimate and, if configured, instantly convert it into an Invoice for online payment. Automations were available at every stage of the workflow, thus allowing you to trigger actions across the platform based on Estimate approval or Invoice payment.
  • Now, Dynamic Estimates take this a step further. With Dynamic Estimates, you can present a range of offerings to your Prospects or Clients, allowing them to make individual selections. By simply clicking a checkbox next to an Item, they can accept it as part of the Estimate, and the Dynamic Estimate will automatically calculate the total based on the selected Items.
  • You can also specify required Items that must be included in the Estimate. When creating the Dynamic Estimate, you can lock these Items, ensuring that the Client or Prospect cannot deselect them. Additionally, for Items where quantity matters, you can either allow the Client to set the quantity or lock the quantity yourself during the creation process.
  • As Clients interact with the Dynamic Estimate, they make their selections, and the total is auto-calculated in real-time. Once they confirm their choices, the Estimate is approved, and the final cost is locked. If configured, the Estimate will then automatically convert into an Invoice, enabling the Client to make a payment in the next step. All associated Automations will also be triggered upon Estimate approval.

These Expenses can be categorized as One-Time or Recurring, and you can assign them to specific Clients and/or Projects. Additionally, you can define each Expense as either Billable or Non-Billable. When an Expense is marked as Billable, it can be seamlessly added to an Invoice, making it easy to pass those costs onto your Client.
  • Now, SuiteDash has added the ability to automatically apply a Markup to these Billable Expenses. As you create an Expense, you will enter the actual cost, and then define the Markup—either as a percentage or a fixed amount. Once the Expense is added to an Invoice, SuiteDash will automatically calculate the total, including the Markup, and present the total billed amount to your Client.
  • Importantly, your Client will only see the final total on the Invoice, which includes the Expense and the Markup combined. The actual Expense amount is kept invisible, allowing you to manage costs like printing, marketing, digital advertising, and more, while adding your Markup without the Client seeing the breakdown.

Previously, phone fields allowed for freeform entry, which could lead to inconsistencies in data entry. With this update, all phone numbers are now compliant with the E.164 standard, ensuring they are properly formatted for SMS communication.
  • The E.164 format is essential for sending SMS messages, as it ensures that phone numbers are universally understood and functional across different regions. This format includes a plus sign (+) to prefix the country code, followed by the area code and the subscriber number. For example, a US phone number will now appear as +1 followed by a 10-digit number.
  • In addition to enforcing this standard for all new phone numbers, SuiteDash has also taken steps to sanitize existing phone numbers to conform with E.164. This means we made every effort to help your current data work seamlessly with SMS functionalities without the need for manual corrections.

While a Primary Contact is still required for a Company to be active in the platform, this step can now be completed later, either manually or via the API, offering greater flexibility.
  • Automated Client Onboarding with Portal Invites: SuiteDash streamlines Client onboarding by introducing the ability to send immediate Portal Access Invitations to newly created CRM Targets.
