Development Update For November 30, 2017
A quick update from all of us here at SuiteDash HQ, as we have a new functionality that we wanted everyone to know about! It’s not as flashy as some of our other updates, but it makes up for it in practicality. The new functionality relates to how time is displayed in regards to Tasks inside Projects, as well as time tracked via Timers.
Details can be found below, and we also have some updates regarding upcoming SuiteDash features, both in the long and short-term. We have a lot of new features coming in the last part of this year, as well as first thing in 2018, so be sure to stay tuned! More info below:
Total Project Hours
Implemented as a direct result of a customer request, you can now easily view various data-points related to time from your Tasks and Projects. From the main “Overview” tab when viewing a particular Project, there are new items for Estimated Time Remaining, Total Time Spent, Total of Completed Timers, and Total of Open Timers. With these new data-points, you can quickly view all of the time (estimated, and real time spent) related to the Tasks and Timers in this Project, allowing you to more easily keep track of the workload of you and your staff. This new functionality is available now for all customers, so check it out and let us know any feedback!
Short-Term Horizon
Coming very soon, we have the first phase of our Zapier integration, as well as our new translation functionality. Both of these new features are in the final rounds of development and testing, and we hope to have more details about them soon!
Over The Horizon
Looking further ahead, we are continuing development regarding implementing a new overall theme and UI, with the aim being to improve responsiveness across all devices.
