We are proud to announce the latest addition of features for SuiteDash! In the most recent update is a powerful new feature, as well as a few smaller additions that we hope our customers will find useful. First up is the addition of Email Marketing, which gives our customers the ability run a full-fledged email campaign system right from their SuiteDash installation. It’s a huge feature, with a ton of useful potential, and we are very excited to share it with our customers, and get their feedback. Another feature in this update is the addition of more settings for customizing the look and feel of the automated SuiteDash email notifications, in the form of Custom Email Templates. Finally, this post has some updates regarding upcoming SuiteDash features, both in the long and short-term. More info below:

Email Marketing

Without a doubt the biggest feature added in the recent update is Email Marketing. With this new feature, customers will be able to create, manage, and schedule email campaigns right inside their SuiteDash installation. You can easily build templates for multiple uses, or build a new campaign from scratch, using the built-in powerful CKEditor. Once you have the email looking exactly how you want it, you need to have someone to send to, right? Within Email Marketing, you can create and manage Lists, which allows you to save subscriber names and email addresses for use when sending campaigns. Additionally, you can choose to import existing users from your installation (both from Contacts and your master Users list) into Lists for use within Email Marketing. Once you have the campaign designed, and the list of who to send to created, you can simply schedule when you want the campaign to send, and save it. The system will take care of the rest, automatically sending the campaign at the scheduled date/time, and you will be able to see a report of successful receipts after sending. Email Marketing is available to all Plus, Aspire, and Elite license holders right now!

Custom Email Templates

From the beginning SuiteDash has allowed customers to modify the text contents of all of the various email notifications that are sent out, such as welcome emails to clients, notifications of new private messages, etc. With the new Custom Email Template settings, that customization can be taken a step further. Built in a similar manner to the existing Customize Theme settings, Custom Email Templates allow you to define specific graphical elements of the SuiteDash email notifications, such as background and font colors, header logos, and so on. Additionally, the social media links included in the footer of the default emails can be customized to link to your own personal accounts, or they can be turned off entirely. Custom Email Templates are available for all SuiteDash customers now, so go ahead and give it a try and send us your feedback!

Short-Term Horizon

We are currently working to implement a “Startup Wizard” for the purposes of making the initial onboarding process easier for new customers using SuiteDash. We have this functionality live on our development sites currently, and we hope to be able to share more information in the near future. Also in development is a revamped and improved version of the current live chat functionality, which we are in the process of completely redesigning. We hope to have this ready to go live before too long. his. Also on our list for the near future is the addition of more payment gateways for invoicing, which we hope to have implemented very soon!

Over The Horizon

Looking further ahead, we are making headway on expanding our Branded Environments functionality. This feature will allow our customers to completely rebrand the default “app.suitedash.com” URL, to a custom domain of their choosing. We are working to implement this as soon as possible, and we hope to have another update soon regarding this.
