We have another quick check-in here, with some info about new and “coming soon” additions for SuiteDash! We hope everyone had a great summer, and stayed busy (we certainly did). We’ve got info on a few items, big and small, below:

Mobile Responsiveness

Our new Card View has hit the live environment, and we’re super excited about it! Added as an alternative to our older “List View” (which remains for those who prefer it), the new Card View is entirely mobile responsive, and really shines on smartphones and the like. And even in a desktop browser, it is very visually appealing. Feel free to check it out, and let us know your thoughts!

Short-Term Horizon

Our file sharing overhaul is moving along nicely, and we hope to have the final product pushed to the live environment soon. It has a lot of cool new features, like being able to share whole folders with users. We can’t wait for you all to see it!

Over The Horizon

We have new mobile apps coming! New versions of the SuiteDash mobile app are in development, and will be hitting the Google Play and Apple App Stores in the not-too-distant future.

Greetings from SuiteDash HQ! Summer may be ending soon, but things are not cooling off in our development, as we’re continuing to stoke the flames and go full-steam ahead. The big new feature we’ve recently added is actually a revamp of an existing functionality: Work Requests. We’ve added a new “free form” option, which will come in handy for those that need a less structured request form to offer clients.

Details can be found below, and we also have some updates regarding upcoming SuiteDash features, both in the long and short-term. More info below:

Free Form Work Requests

With the new free form Work Request option, you can allow clients to enter/create their own items when submitting a new request. This means that instead of them picking from a preset list that you create, they can create their own custom items as needed. We didn’t get rid of the original Work Request functionality though, so you can switch between them based on what fits your needs!

Short-Term Horizon

Our new mobile responsive “Card View” (as we’re calling it) is in the final stages of development, and should be ready very soon. This will help with mobile responsiveness, as well as overall visual appeal.

Over The Horizon

We’ve started preliminary discussions on new SuiteDash mobile apps, which will utilize the new Card View that we mentioned above. This means the full-fledged capabilities of the desktop SuiteDash environment will be available on mobile devices, which is very exciting!

Hope you are all well! We have some updates on new and upcoming features, which we’ll recap quickly below:

Google Calendar Integration

We got a TON of requests for this, and we heard you all! You can now sync your Google Calendar with the SuiteDash calendar, which means SuiteDash Tasks, as well as CRM Events, will be added to your Google Calendar automatically. We plan to expand this in the future as well, so feel free to send us your feedback!

Short-Term Horizon

In the near future we have a new version of Work Requests coming, which will allow for a less “structured” form, for situations where you want the client to be able to have more flexibility in what they’re requesting. This is in the final stages of development, and should be ready very soon!

Over The Horizon

We’ve begun development on a completely new “view” for areas where tables exist (think CRM Contacts and Tasks), which will be aimed to both help mobile responsiveness, as well as just look better overall. More info on this as we progress!

SuiteDash 2.0

Eagle-eyed users have probably already started noticing some updates we’ve made recently regarding the UI, and overall “experience” in SuiteDash. We are continuing to tweak and modify all of the bits and pieces, as we want everything to be just right. This is going to be the foundation for a lot of big changes we have planned in the coming months, so we want it to be as stable as it can possibly be. We hope you’re all enjoying the changes so far, and be on the lookout for more soon!

New Visual Editing Tool

For areas where content can be editing visually (such as in Pages), the previous editor was getting a big long in the tooth. So we made the decision to replace it with a sleek new one, which has all of the same tools you’re used to, but it a shiny new package. It should be faster than the old one also, so that’s a plus!

Short-Term Horizon

Our new “Public Pages” functionality is moving along, and we plan to have it ready in the live environment very soon. This will essentially allow you to create a public-facing “website” of sorts, using the built-in tools of SuiteDash!

Over The Horizon

We have a complete overhaul to the file sharing system in the works, and it’s going to be a huge change! We can’t share the details yet, but rest assured it will be prettier, easier to use, and more robust than ever before.

We’ve got another round of BIG updates for you, hot off the SuiteDash press! SuiteDash 2.0, Reseller Dashboard & Google Calendar integration!

SuiteDash 2.0 is getting closer

We’ve had a team of developers working behind the scenes to implement a whole new way of working with and seeing SuiteDash! There is significant progress, and we look forward to the time when we can start porting users over to the improved and more mobile friendly experience.

Reseller Dashboard

For those of you who are interested in re-selling SuiteDash to your customers & clients, the Reseller Dashboard will be an invaluable tool. You’ll be able to create & manage new ‘resold’ accounts directly from this Dashboard, which will save you tons of time & confusion when you’re looking to onboard a new partner.

Short-Term Horizon

We are looking forward to the Google Calendar integration that is underway. This feature is in final stages of development and testing.

Over The Horizon

Soon, you’ll be able to use the “Public Pages” feature to create a public Extranet of organized information. Do you need to publish a series of manuals, links or other resources? Public Pages will make it possible for you to create a series of organized pages that can be accessed via a standard website like navigation, and these pages will be 100% open to the general public. Of course, the private parts of your Portal will remain completely private. This Public Pages content will be the only part of your Portal that is public, but many of our customers have expressed this need.

We have been working non-stop on improvements and additions to SuiteDash over the last few weeks (and months), and we just wanted to give a quick update here for all of our customers. Firstly, we are continuing to make tweaks and updates to the SuiteDash 2.0 new UI, based both on our testing as well as feedback from all who are using it. We have made some huge strides here, and it’s all thanks to you! We will continue to update the new UI into the future, as new requests come in and new features are implemented.

Additionally, we are nearing completion on a new feature, which we are calling Workspaces. This feature will act as a collaborative space, where you, your staff, and your clients can all work on and update the same page content, all contained within your SuiteDash environment. Workspaces will have full revision history, complete with comments, date/user stamps, and the ability to “revert” to older versions. We are very excited for this feature, and we think it will be useful for many of our customers.

BIG NEWS for everyone today, hot off the SuiteDash press! We have officially rolled out our new UI, which we are dubbing SuiteDash 2.0!

We have been working tirelessly to get the new UI ready for deployment, but just because it’s been released doesn’t mean we will stop improving it. We will be continuing to test and tweak the new UI, both based on what we see, and also based on any and all customer feedback we receive. With the new SuiteDash 2.0 release, this represents a big step in the direction of full mobile responsiveness for SuiteDash as a whole, and we will be continuing to work towards that ultimate goal over the coming weeks.

We have updates on lots of other items coming soon, such as our new Public Pages and Workspaces functionalities, which are currently in development, along with several other improvements to existing features. We want to thank everyone who has signed up for SuiteDash, and also provided us with valuable feedback that has shaped how SuiteDash has grown and changed over the months and years. These updates are the direct result of real-world scenarios that you all bring to us, and our entire team works hard to build and maintain a set of tools that you can use to efficiently run your business.

Just a quick update from SuiteDash HQ, before we dive right back into development overdrive. Progress on our new UI is moving along nicely, and we hope to have the first version of it available in beta to our customers very soon! The new UI will allow maximum mobile responsiveness, and also be a major overhaul to all corners of the SuiteDash environment.

Additionally, we are putting the final touches on our new Reseller Dashboard, which will allow any Elite license holder to manage multiple SuiteDash environments/accounts easily, providing a managed solution for re-branding and re-selling SuiteDash to your customer base.

We can’t wait to share all of the new upcoming features with our customers, and we will have more details to share in the near future!

Happy New Year from all of us at SuiteDash HQ! With a new year comes new features and updates, and we are excited for all of our customers to get their hands on what we have recently released. First up is the first phase of our Zapier integration, which means SuiteDash can now be integrated with other 3rd party software and tools via the Zapier network. We are also introducing the new Intranet functionality, which works similar to Pages but is geared towards internal staff members.

Zapier Integration

First up in the latest update is the newly added Zapier integration. With this new functionality, SuiteDash is now part of the Zapier app network, and you can now setup “Zaps” within Zapier that tie into SuiteDash. Specifically, the first version of this integration includes triggers and actions for the SuiteDash functions Add Company, Add Contact, Add Project, and Add Task. Each of those items are available as “triggers” and “actions” within Zapier, meaning the data can be coming into SuiteDash or going out, just depending on your needs. The Zapier integration is live now for all customers, so you can start setting up custom Zaps right away!

Intranet Pages

Another new feature added recently is the Intranet feature. This functionality operates similarly to the existing Pages, but where Pages are Client facing, Intranet is geared towards internal staff members. You can create Intranet Pages using the built-in visual editor, and assign them to one or more internal users in your environment (including Admins, Managers, Teammates, and Salespersons). Alternatively, instead of creating embedded pages, you can add direct hyperlinks instead. Each user will see their assigned Intranet Pages and links automatically in their top-level navigation menu, and they will be able to access and view them from there. Intranet is up now for all customers, so give it a look and let us know your thoughts!

Short-Term Horizon

Very soon we are adding the capability for assigning “Secondary Clients” to Projects, which will allow for more than one Client user to be assigned to a single Project, including being able to view Tasks, upload files, and leave comments. More details on this and other features coming soon!

Over The Horizon

Looking further ahead, we are continuing development on our new UI and theme, with the aim being to improve the overall client-facing experiencing of SuiteDash as a whole, as well as providing mobile responsiveness. We are very excited about the coming additions, and we hope to be able to share more details in the near future!

The entire SuiteDash Team wants to wish you a happy holiday season! To celebrate the coming new year, we have what might possibly be our biggest and most requested addition. Our Team has been working overtime to roll out this new feature, and we are very proud to announce it: Translation functionality is here! Our customers asked, and we listened. You now have the ability to fully customize the text of your SuiteDash environment, whether it be to translate to a different language, or to use the functionality to customize labels through the software.

Translation

The main focus of today’s post, and one of the most highly requested features we’ve ever had, is Translation. With this new functionality, all of the various text strings throughout your environment are displayed in one menu, that is filterable if you’re looking for a specific item. Each line of text can be edited and replaced to fit your needs. This means you can replace all of the text with translated strings in your desired language, or even use the feature to add your own custom nomenclature. Do you call a collection of tasks “Jobs” or “Cases” instead of “Projects”? With the Translation functionality you can easily make this adjustment. Additionally, you have the option to give each user in your environment the ability to choose whether they see the default (English) text, or your custom translation set. This means your SuiteDash can be bi-lingual, and the language can be adjusted on a per-user basis as needed. The Translation functionality is live now for all customers in the main Settings menu, so feel free to check out and let us know your thoughts!

Coming soon we have our new Intranet functionality, which is similar to the existing Pages feature, but geared more towards internal staff members. With Intranet, you will be able to create Pages (or direct hyperlinks), and assign various internal users, and these links will appear in their top navigation menu. More details on this and other features soon!

Over The Horizon

Looking further ahead, we are working to implement a “Secondary Clients” assignment field for Projects. This would allow for more than one Client to be assigned to a given Project (with one designated as the “Primary Client”). Additionally, soon we will have the first version of our new “theme” and UI overhaul, with a primary focus on improving mobile responsiveness. We are very excited about the coming additions, and we hope to be able to share more details soon!

2018 is going to be a big one for SuiteDash, and we appreciate everyone who has joined us on the ride so far. More info coming soon!
